Garden Fencing · Loughborough & Charnwood

Garden Fencing across Charnwood.

A garden fence is only as good as its posts and its gravel boards — the panels are the easy part. We dig out the old run, set new posts plumb and to a line, keep the timber off the wet ground, and leave the garden tidier than we found it. One visit to measure, one fixed figure for the whole job.

Straight answers

Things people ask about garden fencing.

Timber posts or concrete posts — which should I have?
Concrete outlasts timber in the ground and lets you swap a panel in minutes, but many people prefer the all-timber look. We price both ways on the survey and tell you straight what suits the site — exposed runs and wet ground usually argue for concrete.
Whose fence is it — mine or the neighbour's?
Deeds sometimes mark ownership with a T on the boundary line, but plenty of gardens have no paperwork at all. We fit to the boundary you instruct us on and are happy to talk to the neighbour about splitting a shared run — it happens all the time.
Do you take the old fence away?
Yes — dismantling and disposal of the old fence, posts and concrete is part of every quote. Nothing gets left on the drive.
How long does a garden fence take to fit?
A typical back garden — eight to twelve panels — is usually one to two days including tearing out the old run. You get a date when you book and a heads-up call before we arrive.
Will you match the fence my neighbour has?
Usually, yes. Send a photo and we will identify the panel and post type and quote to match it, so the boundary reads as one run rather than a patchwork.
